This east west route runs from the WA/NT border to its junction with the Great Northern Highway 56 km south of Wyndham.
It is dual lane sealed.
NOTE .. WATER is not available in Rest Areas to the west. We will try and identify alternative watering spots.

0 km (89.2 km) Northern Territory Border and quarantine check point entering West Australia.
Essentially, no fresh fruit, vegies or honey. We found them easy to get along with .. very cursory inspection.

large rigs have a problem. Signed "caravan and coach parking" bays on northern side of Konkerberry and Coolibah
Drives. We parked, with trailer, in parking/delivery area to the south of Coles in River Fig Avenue.
We were advised that fresh fruit and vegies available from outlets on Ivanhoe Road at half Coles prices.

44.7 km (44.5 km) Junction .. north side .. Ivanhoe Road .. principal road to the north .. including Coles fuel outlet.
Travel 1.4 km to northern end of Coolibah Drive .. showgrounds on corner .. available for big rigs and
those with pets. $20 pvpn powered. Caretaker on site.
Class 1 (fee). 15° 46.38'S. 128° 43.89'E. Hema map 81, E 14.
Toilets, showers, some shade, rubbish bins, 40m from road (some noise), OK big rigs, good TV, good CDMA.
DUMP POINT near toilet/free laundry block in north west corner .. somewhat inaccessible for big rigs.
Fresh fruit and vegies 500m past showgrounds in Ivanhoe Road.

About 1 km further west .. south side .. noticed a short dirt track leading to a circular level
dirt turning/parking area about 70 m from highway, OK big rigs.

89.2 km (0 km) Junction with Great Northern Highway .. end of Victoria Highway. Ahead for Wyndham, turn south
for Halls Creek, Broome etc.
Signed Cockburn Rest Area on south west corner .. large complex series of level dirt loops with parking
adjacent .. another area at rear.
