This highway forms part of the major east west route from the eastern states to Perth.
It is dual lane sealed with some overtaking lanes.
Note. In the south west of W.A., in general, roadside parking is only signed when it's on your left
side. Not sure why, but guess to stop one crossing to the other side of the road against oncoming traffic. This
means that parking spots on the opposite side of the highway, to which we travelled, may be missed in these notes.

For shopping, food and liquor, we parked early at 7-30am in Woolworths Car park. Liquor section
doesn't open till 10 am. Then, sales of 4 & 5 litre casks of wine not till 12!! More bureaucracy!
We drove 4.4 km towards Menzies for signed parking area on both sides. Both fairly large
sealed areas. Western one has small dirt area amongst trees to the north, suitable smallish rigs.
