This is the main coastal route north from Bisbane. We have travelled it a number of times and keep adding more and more
detail .. particually around the Bundaburg area where we have now spent a lot of time. Lots of side trips plus other side
trips "nested" inside the initial ones need to be skipped over in order to follow the main route.

OVERNIGHT SPOTS IN BUNDABURG.

We had some medical tests/minor procedures done in Bundaburg as we found the wide streets provided good parking for our
size rig. The medical tests etc. were all a few days apart, thus we used/identified the following overnight parking spots.
a) Opposite lawn cemetry in Johnston Street just north of Aldi .. large paddock. The same paddock, further south provides
good parking for shopping at Sugarland Shopping Centre .. also a good day parking area.

1.6 km just past Archer hotel on right, turn left in Jellicote Street. Immediately veer right
and pass Hastings Deering to the right, Port Curtis school to the left. Do not take the right
fork immediately in front of Hastings Deering.
2.3 km Hastings Deering now on the right.
4.5 km sign .. "Wollwash Conservation Area" to the right. Lagoon visible to the right.
5.0 km gravel parking spots between road and water.

Sealed road runs about 25m parallel with edge of lagoon. Grassy areas in between ..
boggy in wet weather. Two solid gravel sections exist .. fit 2 medium size motorhomes
on each. No facilities, some shade, OK big rigs in dry weather, good TV, nice lagoon,
birdlife.
